Who is Karina Bradley? is an American singer and songwriter who focuses primarily on Pop, Dance and Electro, but has shown her versatility through some Hip hop and R&B tracks.
Karina was born in the Bronx, NY but has resided in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania for the latter portion of her life. She is currently working on her debut album with over half of the album completed. Some of her singles that have already been released include "Buy Me That", "Dance Floor Diva" and "Damn I Look Good". Karina stated, "Creating my album has been an amazing journey thus far. Each day I wake up with new ideas and concepts for new songs. I love being able to dream a song and make it happen from my thoughts to a complete track. Each track is like the birth of a new KB baby. I conceive it and nurture it and the track grows. Guess I have strong maternal instincts ha. I have been fortunate to travel around the country to work with tons of talented people and different studios. For me I am just so grateful that I am able to do what I love on a daily basis. Some people call me a workaholic, but for me I do not look at it as work, it is the only thing I want to do. I look at it as having a perfect love that I get to spend a lot of time with. I find myself in the recording booth for four or five hours straight. I simply get lost in my work, only to break when nature calls or to fill up my tea and grab a small bite to eat. After that I can be back at it for another 4 or 5 hours. Time just stands still for me when I am recording. I thank God everyday for the opportunities I have been blessed with. My whole life I have dreamt of being a performer and now that time is here".
Karina received her "big break" when she did a music video for Barrington Levy's "No War" featuring Kardinal Official, which is currently on MTV. These experiences lead to Karina working with Caesar Augustus for her own music video for "Dance Floor Diva". From this she was suggested to work with two of Caesar Augustus' connections, Jakk Frost and Freeway. After meeting with Jakk Frost, Karina's management team decided there was a fit. This meeting led to a remix of Karina's first released single, "Buy Me That". The remix went on to be called "Buy You That". The song did so well that Jakk Frost, Freeway and Karina decided to do a music video together called "We Run This Thing", featuring Karina Bradley. In the year that Karina has been perusing her dream to become a recording artist she has hit over 3 million views online, with over 1 Million plays on her Myspace music player alone starting in September 2009.
